Heavy Item Delivery — Anywhere in the UK

Most domestic and small commercial deliveries are optimised for items a person can lift, or items a tail-lift can roll off. The moment a load passes somewhere in the region of 250 kilos, or is large enough that two people cannot manhandle it through a gate, the standard logistics network starts to look the other way. Sellers refuse to ship. Couriers refuse to insure. Standard flatbeds will deliver kerbside but will not place the item anywhere useful. That gap is exactly what this service is built for.

The vehicle is a 26-tonne rigid flatbed with an on-board hydraulic crane. The crane is part of the lorry, not a separate machine — meaning the same driver who collects your item also lifts it on, drives it to its destination, and lifts it off into the position you want. If the seller's yard has a forklift, brilliant; if not, we use the on-board crane to pick the item up anyway. The same is true at the delivery address. There is no expectation that you have lifting equipment at either end of the journey.

Customers tend to find us when they have already had a frustrating week trying to organise the move themselves. A hot tub bought from a dealer 200 miles away, a safe being relocated between offices, a stand-by generator being delivered to a rural site, a vintage motorcycle going to a buyer, a garden building that arrived on a pallet and needs lifting over a fence into the back garden. The thread connecting all of them is that the item itself is fine — it is the lifting at each end that is the problem. We are the lifting.

The service runs nationwide. Most jobs are quoted against a simple data set: collection postcode, delivery postcode, weight, rough dimensions, and any notes about access at either end (overhead cables, archways, gravel driveways, locked gates). With that we can give a fixed price, a date, and a sensible arrival window. Larger or more complex items can be handled under our specialist transport or nationwide HIAB delivery services.
