What is a HIAB crane and how is it different from other cranes?
A HIAB is a truck-mounted crane that combines transportation and precision lifting in one vehicle. Ideal for restricted-access sites — we deliver and place materials exactly where needed without requiring separate crane hire.
How much weight can your cranes lift?
The lorry-mounted crane lifts up to 6 tonnes close in, tapering to around 2.5 tonnes at full reach — with any crane, the further out the load has to go, the less it will take. Our 3.5-tonne HIAB van covers the smaller end, lifting up to 600kg. Tell us the weight and roughly how far the crane needs to reach and we'll confirm which vehicle suits.
Do you work on residential projects?
Yes — commercial and residential. Our cranes handle hot tubs, garden rooms, sheds, and other items in locations with difficult access.
